about

The beautiful scenic community of Miraleste is located high on the hills of the Palos Verdes Peninsula overlooking the Harbor and Pacific Ocean in the city of Rancho Palos Verdes.

Miraleste’s main entrance is on Miraleste Drive at Via Colinita. Two additional entrances on Palos Verdes Drive East at Via Subida and the other at Picardie Rd.  The community encompasses 300 acres with 377 homes with its first home built in 1924.

Miralesteans enjoy beautiful sunrises and an abundance of natural beauty. Our community boasts the charm of red tile clay roofs, tree lined streets, natural trails and sweeping views of the harbor, city and coastline.

Miraleste has its own Parks & Recreation District which maintains our natural landscapes and nature trails.

Being one of the original four districts of unincorporated Palos Verdes Estates, our homes and streets are like those of the Estates. Having been designed and built by many of the same architects and builders. All Miraleste homeowners are members of the Palos Verdes Homes Association & Art Jury and our community retains its original Mediterranean architectural character.

Several of our notable homes are documented and pictured in the Palos Verdes Bulletin (1924-1933) newspaper.
